I am an artist born in 1987 in Jerusalem, Israel, currently based in Tel Aviv.
I completed my BFA in 2011 and MFA in 2018 (with honors), both at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem, and participated in the art teaching program of Hamidrasha School of Art in 2020-21.
My painting practice is guided by a constant exploration between figurative and abstract modes, sliding between the concrete and the imaginary. In my creative process, I paint to invoke a stream of consciousness and visualize dream landscapes, investigating the vague or the irrational. My approach to the medium of painting is leaning on gut feelings and intuition. Working with a minimal and naïve palette, my works touch upon inner worlds and the experience of gender issues and are a playing ground for the representation of elements coming up in the stream of everyday life.
I exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in various spaces such as Parterre Projects, Hanina, The Kupferman Collection House, Bar David Museum of Arts, Ha’hanut 31 Gallery, The Left Bank, Hacubiya Gallery, and more. In 2018, I received the Bezalel MFA Excellence Award. My work can be found in private collections in Europe and Israel.
